Legacy of Kindness

Keeping Justin's spirit alive through acts of generosity, inclusion, and sportsmanship.

What does LOVE-ALL mean?

A tennis term. A way of life.

In tennis, Love-All is called at the very start of every match. It means 0 – 0. A fresh start. Equal footing. Nothing decided yet.

For us, it means something more. Love everyone. Love the sport. Love the community. Believe that everyone deserves a chance to play, no matter where they start.

LOVE-ALL Scoreboard

Justin Bourassa

Justin Bourassa was a beloved member of the Sarnia-Lambton community, a passionate tennis player, a dedicated coach, and a friend to everyone who stepped on the court.

He gave his time freely, showed up for people, and had a way of making whoever he was playing with feel like they belonged out there. He believed tennis was about more than the score. It was about showing up, connecting with people, and giving everyone a fair shot. LOVE-ALL was created to keep that spirit alive.

From the moment he first picked up a racquet, Justin fell in love with the sport. Much of that love was sparked by his first coach, Jack Clift (John Edwards Clift), who introduced him to the game and helped shape the player and person he would become.

Justin tragically passed away on October 28, 2021, at the age of 29, leaving a huge void not only in the tennis community, but in the lives of everyone who knew him. His warmth and spirit left a lasting impression on anyone he crossed paths with. His legacy continues through LOVE-ALL.

The primary objective of LOVE-ALL is to provide financial support for the growth of youth tennis in Sarnia-Lambton. The fund is focused on choosing candidates who can contribute to the tennis community and promote a dynamic and diverse environment. By doing so, we aim to keep Justin's spirit alive and honour his legacy.

His legacy lives on in every serve, every lesson, and every young player who picks up a racquet because someone believed in them.
